[Kay's hand immediately reached out after the bump, aiming to hold the person's arm before they fell. He stopped when he saw that the girl already manged to regain some equilibrium but looked down at the pieces she was carrying critically.]

Are those for the falcon? [What is saying sorry...Kay never learned that.]

"Yes, they're for my ship, what's it to you?" she asked. Her ship. She wasn't letting anyone try to take it from her. Not now.

"Are you always this hostile on principle or I am just lucky?"

Granted, he was an Imperial droid but his model had stopped being produced decades ago and the Imperial symbol on his shoulder had been replacing by the orange Starbird.

"I have known that ship for longer than you ever existed and I know for a fact it belonged to someone else. But I've heard what happened...you must be Lei? Ray?"

"And you must be ancient tech if you've known of this ship longer than I've existed and you think I'm her," she said, flatly, not specifying which her. "As to if I'm always this hostile, I don't tend to play nice with strangers who poke around my affairs without introducing themselves," she said, arms crossed.

She wished Chewie would come back from his supply run. Not that she needed help defending herself from a single droid, but a there could be others and with Chewie safely on board they could make a quick escape if they needed to.

Of course, the fact that Chewie could crush this droid like scrap metal was somewhat amusing to her.

"I'm not ancient I'm...a classic." And he was so not impressed by the woman in front of him. He was, however, reminded of Jyn and that hurt more than he let on.

"I'm you don't know about the only ex-imperial droids who are part of this side of the fight then you truly know nothing." Kids these days, they joint revolutions without knowing anything about them. "The name's K-2SO."

Gods I need to rewatch, I feel like I don't have her at all, atm. I'm sorry.

"You? You were an imperial droid? Guess they really do accept anything and anyone," she said. Easier to make the joke than accept the worry that his words stirred. Finn. She had to finish this and get back, she wanted to be there when he woke up.

"Name's Rey. And the 'Falcon's a classic." Sorry, buddy.

Kay huffs at that, or rather makes a sounds close to a human huffs with his vocoder. "I guess I was that charming back in the day."

Or rather, Cassian had no other option but to join forces with Kay to scape the Imperial complex he was in during a failed mission.

"Rey, that was it. The girl from Jakku, I've heard. Dessert planets are the worst, sand gets everywhere in my joints."

No worries about the delay. Ever.

Where was Chewie? She needed to leave. "How about this, you visit Jakku, then come find me and bad mouth it if you want."
