[Is a good kind of surprise! He knows Garrus and AI.s had a difficult past, so he's happy to call the turian a friend.]
I will. In fact, we wanted to contact our closes friends to warn them about what men like Palpatine can do. And to ask for help too. Although, we don't want you to be dragged into a conflict that isn't yours to bear.
[Hey, they've been pretty good! They even went on that totally-not-a-date at the shooting range.] I know a thing or two about corrupt governments. [That might be a bit of an understatement.] And the two of you are friends. If you need me - and even if you don't - I've got your six.
[And it was very lovely, Kay had a lot of fun even if he didn't realize it was a not!date.]
Those seem to exist everywhere, it's frustrating. You might think people would learn, and yet...Thanks, Garrus. That means a lot to us. We don't want to cause trouble but we want to be ready in case trouble happens anyway.
[That's probaby for the best for their relationship, but not for Garrus' self-confidence.]
Yeah, well, people like power. Good luck getting them to stop.
I get that. Always better to be prepared. I might not be able to help mediate, being a biased party and all, but if you guys need any weapons upgrades let me know and I'll see what I can do.
[Pretty please let him look at your laser blasters so he can make some laser weapons.]
You should swing by Nexus sometime. I'm literally paid to play with weapons all day. I'd love to get the schematics for your guns. I don't think I really know much about your tech.
I'll then. Where's Nexus? In Nova City? That sounds like a dream job. I don't mind sharing, maybe we can find a way to reproduce them here even if we don't have the same power-cells or crystals.
Yeah, Nexus Defense is in Nova. I'd say look for the tall building, but, well, that's the whole city. I'll text you the address.
I'm sure I can figure something out. My omni-tool can scan your weaponry and I'll see what modifications I can make with what I've got on hand. And I might not be able to make an exact replica, but I can probably manage something close.
I never considered that. We have a lot of tall buildings in my galaxy. But now that you mention it, the Citadel is a little extreme. That elevator ride to the top takes forever.
[Damn, he's never going to be able to look at it the same way. Thanks, Kay.]
It's mostly thanks to mass effect technology. We were pretty good, but that opened all kinds of doors for us. Species aren't really considered advanced unless they've unlocked it. Humans only recently did, and they grew leaps and bounds in no time.
Now you do. [You are welcome.] Coruscant, a planet in my Galaxy that is basically a giant city, is even worse than Nova. You can't see the lowers levels easily.
You should share your knowledge, maybe we could replicate it.

True. Some things will never change.
Weapon upgrades? [YOU SAID THE MAGIC WORDS, GARRUS.] That would be fantastic, actually. One day we need to have a meeting and share weaponry tips.

Neat. The technology in your world is very impressive.
